Hey all,
I'm going to be working on a set this weekend where we will be doing a lot of chaotic, outdoor, handheld shots in a park.
I'm expecting the weather here in Phoenix to be sunny with no clouds as usual.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips for lighting and camera settings. Since we will be moving around so quickly it will be impossible to use our studio lights, and reflectors, etc. will be very difficult to coordinate. especially since we also have about 30 extras running around.
For lighting, our director and most of the crew keeps telling me, "don't worry about it the 5D will do everything for you" but since i'm the DP on the shoot i would really hate for this to come out looking flat or with much too shallow DOF (as so much 5D footage is) and have the whole look feel wrong.
Also, the shoot is off a warzone style capture the flag game of water balloon...ness.....
Any tips would be really appreciated.
