OUT PUTTING to a DVD

Hello

I just finished my reel. I want to render it and out put it to DVD to send to my web guy...he says to put into the form of MPEG or MPEG 4.

But i want to play on my website in the form of a quicktime...

How do render and convert it to quicktime??

How do i put it onto a DVD ??? I have idvd on my computer.

If you want it as a QT file, use compressor to make a QT streaming video file. Then just insert a blank dvd, drop the file in the dvd on the desktop and drag to the trash.

One more question - what if i want to ever go back and make a change to my project - should i make a copy of the project before I compress it?

Your project won't change in FCP because you compressed it for export.
