out of sync

I recently captured footage into my FCP it was in sync. I accidently erased it all and had to re capture. Now the audio and video are out of sync by what seems to be a second. How can I fix this problem in final cut pro

make sure in options you have right settings. 24fps 30fps format and all that good stuff

You might do better to post question in FCP section. And include what you are importing, P2, tape, etc, and the chain involved.
