Our Micro-Budget Feature FINISHED. Your experiences with iTunes aggregators?

I made this movie over several years, hiring Atlanta theater actors and crew when they were available to work at indie rates. It's micro budget but everybody got paid, except for me of course, so I'm looking at distribution options. Apparently iTunes requires you hire an "aggregator" company like Bitmax to be middle man. You pay such a company $1000 put your movie on iTunes. Or pay them 500 and they get 15% of sales. They promise some promotion but no details of what that might entail. The trailer at www.shrimpcrawl.com and comments welcome.

Sneakle – I don't know if you've submitted your film to festivals – but if your film is truly microbudget (made for less than $200,000) – I'd recommend that you submit your film to the StarLite Film festival. It's an indy festival that focuses only on microbudget narrative films. Here's the site: www.starlitefilmfest.com

Full Disclosure: I'm the producer of the festival – I saw 'micro-budget' in your subject line and thought I'd connect with you.
