Im doing a music video and stupid me, I shot some footage 60i instead of 24p. I dont have the money for magic bullet suite 2 or nattress. What is wrong with just deinterlacing the footage in fcp using the lower field and then rendering it in the time line? I know it takes random frames out but it actually didnt seem that bad to me. Are there any other draw backs? Just to confirm, magic bullet suite 1 for AE wont give me 24 fps footage will it.

I've been there, I just dropped it into my timeline and rendered it. Worked fine, looked good.

Or you can export the footage as 24p and reimport it. Extra step, but it'll work.
