OT: PA System

I am shooting a series of corporate seminars and I have been asked to provide the PA system, along with the video shoot. Does anyone know of a place we I can calculate what size PA speakers I will need to fill the room. I am currently looking at either running a pair of 12" or 15" self powered loudspeakers running at 400-450 watts each. The room is approx. 3600 sq. ft. and measures approximately 30' x 115'. Will this set up work? If anything I want it to be louder than what is needed, to give myself a little slack in case the room ends up being a little larger than expected.

I know there are quite a few people more knowledgeable than I that frequent these boards, so I am hopeful to get some simple direction. Thank you in advance!

I recommend calling whatever place you are planning on renting the PA from and ask them. More likely than not, they have rented gear for that exact room many times. In any case, they will be able to tell you what you need.
