I saw Super Size Me got a oscar nomination. Wasn't that shot with a DVX100?

Passion of the Christ got 3. For like best makeup! No matter what your beliefs are it was still a good movie and a good Mel Gibson movie. They are just pissed because Gibson did it and he made 400 million or more.

I think you might be right about that. There might have been a list on Chris Hurds board on movie's made with the PD-170.

I knew they had something to do with Mc Donalds. Dammit, time to go vegetarian...wait, I mean, screw the PD 150, or, whatever the Super Size Passion, or...um, huh?

Supersize me was actually kinda funny. I can't believe that guy who loved the big macs. Eats like 3 a day. Crazy!

Supersize Me definitely deserves an Oscar. My 5 year old and my 8 year old both refuse to eat at McDonalds since they've seen it. Who says a film can't change the world? ;D

Not sure what "Jews" were offended by the film.  There were some going around who were offended about the movie without looking at the script (before it was even in production).  Then there were some who said they read the script and were offended (while it was in production), but had not seen the movie.

There were also many people who are Jewish that saw the movie and were not offended.  

As for the movie not being in the major categories, Gibson himself in an interview last year said he was not going to submit it for the awards shows, saying that is not the reason he made the film.
