Oscars meet American Idol?

What's the deal with parading out the nominees on stage to the "lesser" categories like cattle? Not enough seats in the theater?

Have to stand there like they are waiting for Simons approval. ::)

Seems a tad demeaning... :P

I honestly don't care too much about the oscars. But if I ever get nominated for one... ;)

What happened to all the seat fillers? Every time they panned over the auidiences that were higher up, there were large blocks of open seats...

I didn't like the way they presented some of the awards out in the audience, just did not seem right.

The time is too wierd to stay awake . . . like 3.00am here too much! I will watch a rerun
