Did anyone else see jlongley on TV at the awards show? :)

It's too bad he didn't win but, as they say, it's an honor just to be nominated.... especially TWICE!!!

Can't wait to see what he does next.

I'd like to know if you had any tech problems (image or sound) when you transfered your SD footage to HD and 35mm.

I am making my first feature length doc myself, for a humanitarian cause. I am using the DVX 100B. I am planning to do a transfer to HD and eventually a 35mm print if i get picked up by a distributor at the Cannes Film Festival 2009.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if you had tips , advices to novice filmmakers like me if they plan to transfer their film to HD and /or to 35mm.

second question: is it okay to tell us what documentary you're working on in Iran or is it too soon to say? (or may be is it posted somewhere on the web?)
