original Matrox MXO still viable?

Wow! Thanks you! Great news! Now I have to get my hands on a used MXO on ebay :) What a relief that it works on ML & FCP7.

I'm glad to know that you're also working under ML with FCP7 :)
 
So am I! Thanks for the information, I will bump up my system as well. I have an MXO running and use it for CC and it works very well with the Apple Cinema Display. The box also has a BM Decklink Studio card. I have been very reluctant to ugrade to Lion until now fearing I would loose my MXO. So thanks again!

Big relief to me too. I don't have any empty PCI slots on my MP for an MXO2 (or whatever), and love the results I've always gotten with the MXO...

Could someone please send me the driver version 2.2.0.0002 for Matrox MXO?
I have one and need to up date it.
I transferered my Matrox account in deal with an x-MXO 2

Hi Ted, did you do a clean install of the 2.2.x version of MXO drivers on Mountain Lion or did you upgrade from Snow Leopard? I did buy an old MXO on ebay. It works on Snow Leopard, but not in Mountain Lion, all I get is a blank screen and then a "no signal" (in FCP, Apple Color and After Effects CS6).
