Organizing files?

[art metal art]

What's your favorite way to organize your files? I need help with sooooo many files and many look the same. They are sports clips and really look pretty much alike. Any advice? I do love Adobe Bridge so maybe it has my future answers?

For a start - I name /rename the source clips into something logical.

I am currently working on a DVD and it has tons of project files. I do something like this with the bin :

Footage
---Artists
------Blow Joe
------Jim Bob
---Places
------Sumter
------New York
---Things
------Roads
---------Driving I-95.avi
Graphics
---Titles
----Photoshop
----Photos
---Motion
Timelines
---Segments
---Transitions
---Film
---Ads

And Blah Blah. That helps with working with the project, and then in the comments section, I put what each clip is about. How do you rename all the files from there? Because they are all Tape this tape that and now they are artist or place and id like to do that because im sure there are some bad ones that I deleted but dont know it yet...
