Wow, never thought this would happen to me. In my years as an online retailer I would hear of customers making up stories (never happened to me) about how an item was not in the box.

Now, I am a customer and a $110 battery was not included in the box. This from a highly respected online retailer.

My biggest worry is that they do not refund or ship me a battery as then I would be forced to take my biz elsewhere. I don't want to take it elsewhere. This company is amazing and I prefer to do biz with them.

So what is the best way to handle this situation?

Did you contact the company? It may be that it is being shipped in a separate box and the wait time for that item may be longer. Just contact them and see what's up.

Also it could be a packing error or employee theft somewhere down the pipe including postal workers. I would think there would be a shipping weight listed somewhere. On the packing slip? I'm sure a big battery weighs more than an empty box.

Contact the company as suggested above.
