Ordered a Letus Mini!

Hopefully, it'll work out for me as well as I imagine it right now..

Now I need to shop for Canon FD lenses.

For those of you who have the Letus Mini with FD lenses, which ones should I start with? I want to get 28, 50, something longer.. 85 and above..

What is the lightest FD lens what will still work out well with the Letus? Any zoom FDs that will work well?

I also need to shop for a HV20 or 30.. I plan on using the Letus with my HV10 at first before I get the HV20 or 30.

Sorry for the random stream of consciousness I'm just a bit excited to have sold my GL2 and finally jump onto the adapter bandwagon.
 
Hi boogerg2, I have a 24mm f2.8 and a 50mm f1.8 FD lens that I'm selling.

They're decent starter lenses, good for most situations, and quite light. I used them on the Letus Extreme. I prefer a 24mm instead of a 28mm, because it gives you more flexibility. I would say I use the 50mm 80% of the time. I would recommend either a 100mm or a 135mm for close up. The 135mm f2.8 is quite nice. FD lenses lack variety in term of zoom lens, and what is there is fairly expensive.
 
If you are looking for an HV20, I may have one available. Only used for about an hour of footage.

A question came up - With the Letus attached, would I need to zoom in so much with the HV such that with a 24mm lens, after the zoom, the FOV viewable to the HV is no longer 24mm? If so, how much is the cropping effect? Is the 24 now a 30? 35?.. 50?

Vignetting depends on the lens itself as well as the Mini and even the camera you use. I've never formally measure the FOV, but my guess would be that I'm getting about a 28mm with the 24mm attached on my Extreme with the XHA1.
