Orah 4i - a camera that streams 360-degree VR video at 4K resolution to the Internet

This looks great... 360 video is gonna be a big topic this year... Interested to see what is announced at NAB

Can't find any examples clearly indicated to be actual output. I would like to hear about viewing scenarios...Is it only vr headset or is there a controllable user pan app for phones and panels or what?

You can stream 360 video to Youtube i think, which has controllable pan

Looks like either a simulation of output or 360 video thats has already had the view chosen for me. Is there an app that allows the perspective to be selected? I dont understand how it works.

That demo looks like some combination of output from the device and footage of the device being set up and used. It outputs mono not stereoscopic 3d VR. What streaming infrastructure do you need to distribute 4k VR in real time? The top end data rate looks like 25 Mbps.
