Options other than google earth?

I need to produce a sequence of a slowly spinning planet and then a "fly-in" down to the surface at a particular location. Much like what Google Earth does.

Problem is, it needs to be in HD and Google Pro only puts out an SD wmv file.

Is there anything else out there I might use?

Thanks,

there might be an HD screen capture program, depending on your platform.

you can start here

theres a program called National Geographic Presents: 3D Globe out there.. just google it, and it has zoom ect abilities within the program, but im not sure about video output, or how the zooming would look for you, but you could always assemble a sequence based of stills . doesnt look like its HD though. have you considered just upresing with instant Hd or somethng?

Yes...I have that program and figured I might have to use it, but I want to start with the highest resolution I can get if I can't straight get HD.

First move is to check out the sites mentioned here. Thanks guys. I'll let you know what I find.
