Opinions on Cartoni Action Pro

I have the chance to buy a used Cartoni Action Pro tripod and head for about $250. What are your opinions on this tripod and head? My rig is really light. Is there a minimum for the load range? It looks like a heavy tripod. I would have rather a lightweight one particularly a carbon fiber one. However, they are considerably more expensive. If the Caroniti fluid head is of good quality, this seems a good price. What do you think?

I bought an Action Pro second hand... the sticks are light but good, and fast to set up, while the head was completely useless. The pan adjustment was to my surprise just a cheap plastic shoe pressing on a greased plastic rim, which had deformed with time. Unbelievably bad engineering really! So pans are impossible, with a nudge required to get going and uneven resistance. Tilt regulation is very difficult to adjust, and not at all fluid in movement. Balancing spring is non-adjustable (on-off only), and way too hard for my dslr plus heavy lens and monitor. I contacted Cartoni in Italy, and they could rebuild it (regrease probably...) but at a prohibitively high price... So I bought a Manfrotto 502 to replace it, but will get something with adjustable counterbalance and real fluid action when finances permit.

Can you name a read fluid head with adjustable counterbalance which can also support light load? It is not easy to verify this since Manufacturers generally do not clarify it.

I have read Manfrotto 503HDV is a real fluid head, but I cannot confirm it.
