Opinions on Audio-Technica  AUAT897?

I just ordered the Audio-Technica  AUAT897
AT897 - Short Condenser Shotgun Microphone . It is a bit shorter than the Sennheiser MK66 so I thought it would not protrude into the image area. I was told I could expect similar performance. Has anyone used this mic?

wow good to hear its available now, its supposed to be really good from what I heard, but never tried it. Let me know how it sounds.

Just recieved mine also a few days ago. So far so good.

What is the price on it and do you need a powering module like the Sennheiser ME66 needs?

nevermind on the price B&H has it for under $300. I notice that the Senn. ME66 is a Directional Mic and this AT897 is a Cardiod Mic. So is the ME66 still the better Mic of the two?
