Opinions: Bogen 516 Fluid Head + These Carbon Fiber Legs

I bought a set of carbon fiber legs from Amvona.com. Here they are.

I really like them, and they seem extremely solid. However, I haven't yet purchased a fluid head for it - just a pistol grip which I really like for still photos.

SPECS:
Max Load (Legs): 13.2lbs <------
Max Load (Bogen 516): 22lbs
DVX weighs 4.0lbs
Head weighs 4.4 lbs
Misc. Battery, tape, mic: 1.5 lbs
Total Load: 9.9lbs

Questions:
1. Does this give me enough leeway? Should I invest in stronger legs? They seem pretty rigid to me so far.
2. Is the 516 overkill?
3. Would I be happier with a 503 Head? (Or any other recommendations? I do not want to spend much more than $500 on a fluid head if it can be avoided.)
4. Any Bogen 516 owners out there who can chime in with their experiences?

Thanks in advance for your opinions, insights, etc.

BTW: I will be using the whole shebang for some feature and commercial work.

516 is heavier and would be a better choice if you plan to add stuff to your cam (35 adapter, rods, mattebox, monitor, etc.). if you know it will always be just the dvx, i would go with the 503. the 516 is made for more weight and doesn't respond as well with a lightweight cam like the dvx.

My current legs won't accomodate a head with a 100mm bowl (they just have the 3/8" threads) but if they did, I would eschew the 516 and go for the Cartoni Focus. I've seen it at B&H in the $750 range, but they are out of stock. Anybody know where else they're available? Thanks in advance.
