How do I open the timeline window in Adobe Premiere Pro?

The Adobe help page says:
Double-click on a sequence name in the Project Panel or click on the “New Item” button in the Project Panel and select “Sequence”.

WHAT THE HELL Does THAT MEAN? What is a sequence name? What is a project panel? ??? What the h--- are these people talking about?

It happened before, now it happened again. The project opens but with the timeline window. There's no way to open it in the menu. So what is the silly key combination I need to press? This is so Damn annoying and a regular waste of my time having to go to forums to do something so basic. Help please.

A Sequence contains its own timeline, a single project may contain multiple sequences. Simply go to the project bin/project panel on the upper left corner and locate the sequence you want (by default it's a light green color and is named Sequence 1, Sequence 2 etc.) and double click on it. The timeline will open.

When you're new to a program everything is confusing.
