Open Water shot with DVX?

[J.R. Hudson]

Variety review states this film was shot with camcorder in 24p and transferred to 35mm.

Anyone hear about this? Gotta be the DVX.

Re: Open Water shot with DVX?

It has been confirmed. It was shot on the VX2000.

IN fact, the filmaker stated to me "I WISH it was shot with the DVX, but it wasnt available at the time we shot it. The DVX is the way to go!"

BTW, this film has ben picked up by LIONS GATE for $2.5 million at this years Sundance.

It's stuff like this that just motivates the hell out of me!

Re: Open Water shot with DVX?

I think films that enter the festival circuit typically have the trailer removed from veiwing (Dramatic features).

I said I THINK. Damn it.
