Open GL error 6

I'm using premiere cs5.5.2 and I'm all of a sudden getting this Error message "NVIDIA OpenGL Driver Error Code: 6"Your hardware configuration does not meet minimum specs". I've been editing with cs5 for quite some time now and also cs4 before that on this same machine.( Windows 7 64bit, i7processor@ 3.2ghz, 12gb RAM, gtx460SE graphics card running mercury playback engine) . More than enough to meet the minimum requirements. I'm trying to finish an edit and this blasted error keeps coming up crashing the program and pretty often. Sometimes to the point that premiere doesn't even restart. I need to restart the pc. I need to get this job done...so any help is greatly appreciated. This is a basic edit...of 7d 1920hd 24p footage with some grading...so nothing crazy. Windows and Nvidia drivers are up to date. When it was getting really bad to the point it would just crash like crazy and i couldnt do anything i uninstalled the nvidia driver and re installed it. That worked for a little while and I actually got alot done. So i thought i was out of the woods but then...crash. Anyone know how to fix this? Been googling and coming up empty.

Yeah, sounds like the graphics card if you were working OK for a reasonable amount of time.

Do you have CUDA cores enabled? You would probably need to do a hack to do that with that card.

If not, maybe it is using Open CL instead of CUDA?

Do you have even a low end card to swap? I bought a GT 420 recently for $25 after rebate. Lower end card but the CUDA hack works, so there is some hardware acceleration. Swap out just to keep running?

thanks for the feedback fellas. Yup the CUDA hack is enabled for this card. I changed settings to Maximum render quality and Maximum bit depth (Which i thought it was on before) and it didn't give me any more probs and I got to finish the project. But i don't know if its fixed because early that day i had re installed the driver and i had no probs for some time again and got some work done...till it popped up again. So just waiting to see if it will pop up again.

@Michael. I do have a lower end card... a PNY GEforce 9800 GTX but thats 512mb so not enough for the hack to work.

@Jim Simon. If the Graphics card were failing wouldn't that affect the overall PC as opposed to only one program?

I will post it on the adobe forums also.
