Hey guys,
I got a thread going about this in the DIY section but I was wondering what kind of screen material they use with scrims like these. Also, the edge material? Anybody got em?

Aren't these nets? I have never heard these called scrims before.

Scrims are made of metal.

Where as nets are basically the same as the screen you find on the outside of your window. A kind of fabric probably cotton or nylon. The framse is metal wrapped in fabric.

The actual net material I'm not entirely sure about but someone told me it's one manufacturer that supplies it to all the grip manufacturers (Matthews, Modern, Avenger). I think Aveneger might sell bulk textiles.

In terms of the edge material that the net stretches over, I've used piano wire when I've had to repair mine - they sometimes snap on you. I don't remember the exact gauge strength at the moment.

Hope that helps!
