opal diffuser for gg?

Do you think that diffuser screen (that you speak of) be any good as a focus plane for a telecine? (like transfering film from the projector to my camera?)

What kind format is that beattie screen? 35mm format, medium, large etc..etc..It looked really good.

I just wanted something to be clarified, because I am a "newbie" as they say on boards. The beattie glass acts as the ground glass correct? And if so, does is it still need to be grinded?

Probabaly not...it scratches easily just as it is. As an alternative to the beattie, I hear people are using a Nikon D focuser screen over the other gg's out there, including the beattie, the optisigma, etc, and are getting better results.
