only right side audio with lavalier rode mic and tascam dr100 ?

Hi, i want to use a tascam dr 100 audiorecorder with a lavalier rode mic.

Since the lavalier rode is mono, will the mic sound will only play on the right side earphone or will it play in both left and right?

if it only plays on one side (either left or right), can i adjust this with the tescam settings controls ?

You can configure the DR-100 to record mono, which will send the input to both channels. and hence, both ears. Early on, before I bought a mixer, I had the boom in the left input, and the lav on the right input, my left ear hearing the boom, right ear hearing the lav, DR-100 configured for stereo. Then, after sucking the files into my laptop, use wave agent to split and rename the batch.

But me i will use the micon 5 connector. Its better to use xlr with tascam no?
You, you use micon 2 because of you use wireless ?

Oh - If you're going in XLR it's going to be MONO. I don't know if the Tascam can put that signal on both channels. I use the Micon-1 for my Sennheiser G3 wireless, the Micon-2 for my Sony D-50 recorder, and the Micon-5 XLR for anything else.
 
If the dr-100 is set for mono, the input from channel 1 will be routed to both channels, and monitored thu the headphone jack, and the line out jack, as both channels/
