Only comes in 8mm. Damn.

Years ago there was serious talk in some city PDs about mounting miniature cameras to police officers' weapons so as to have post-shooting records that could confirm accounts of what led up to the weapons being fired. IIRC the various police unions and protective organizations came out very much against the idea.

That's an insane idea and I'm glad it was stopped.

With the size of those cameras and the way guns vibrate, there would be MAJOR rolling shutter issues EVERYWHERE!!

[Sad Max]

I think the idea was that the cameras would only capture digital stills, sort of 'here's what the officer saw at the time of the shooting' thing. Since this could work against a policeman just as easily as for him, it's not hard to see why the idea tanked.

They should mount cameras on tasers. That's just comedy gold.

"Don't take a picture while you tase me, bro!"

The perfect birthday gift for a serial killer. Very Peeping Tom / Zodiac to me.
