Hey all,
Well Ive got myself one of those problems where you know whats wrong but not how to fix it..
Using onlocation to capture 16:9 video off a panasonic Gs nv 500.
When I set the monitor aspect ratio to 16:9, (it autos detect 4:3), the monitor output comes out correctly. When I try and capture footage though it comes out with a pixel ratio of 1.094 and aspect ratio of 4:3, rather than 1.4587 and 16:9..
Not sure what to do about this. I figure if i could force onlocation to record with the correct aspect ratio it woudl be ok, but I cant figure it out and dont know that it would work.
Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated.
Edit- I've now changed the pixel aspect ratio once Ive imported the video captured in onlocation into premier pro. Guess that solves, it in a not very tidy way.
Cheers
