Online theatre video archives?

In Greece there is the National Theatre archive that contains about 150 complete plays in streaming video, press clippings and a generous theatrical database. Is there something equivalent in other countries, in English or French? I'm aware of the Yale Theatre in Video archive, but that requires access from the university network.

Thanks.

Recording is prohibited in all productions, but the productions are usually recorded and archived. If something is produced by the goverment and they own the script or it is in public domain (all the classics), it can be released online for more people to access. Taking a trip to the actual archive to view a recording is usually not an option.

Alexander Street Press have some interesting content, but it's not a package one can buy in retail, it's only licensed to libraries.

There are lots of friends interested in acting, taking exams for drama school etc. It's very useful to them because they always want parts from the classics. It helps to see one or two interpretations of the role. Video helps study IMHO although the method theorists might disagree or recommend against it:)

The Performing Arts Library, at Lincoln Center in NYC, has a huge collection called Theater and Film On Tape (TOFT). You have to have a reason for viewing (ie, research for a given project), but they tape almost all Broadway shows, many regional productions, etc.
