Online Purchases

Hey everyone,
Long time lurker new time poster! I have been shopping around for the DVX100a and was wondering what luck everyone has had with online purchases of this camera? I know there are some major scam sites such as www.usaphotonation.com and the like. Is there one site in particular you have had good luck with? Is eBAY safe as well? Thanks for all the input!

I have not seen that. When I asked Jan about it Monday, she said she was working on it. Latest inquiry went unanswered. I think we have to assume it end Apr 30th until we hear otherwise.

chances are you don't want luck when you are puting forth that kind of cash, you want reliability. i would bet people on this site can not provide a reference to a cheap online store option that is reliable. usually cheap ads are nothing more than a hook to get you to call. ask enough questions and for responses in writing, you will find what is offered is no deal and you are dealing with unscrupulous people who would like to part you with your $$.

used cameras will offer a savings and are worth pursuing if the seller's track record is verifiable. also, there are a few used dvx's currently listed in the marketplace section of the board that sound worth checking out.
