A little while ago someone posted about a site that will let you create movie posters online. I tried it out and it worked pretty good but the resolution was not really usable for film.
The owners of the site saw my comment and contacted me and we talked a little bit about expanding the site to have larger resolutions for a fee. They incorporated that now, and it seems like it could be a good option for the graphically design impaired (like me.) I'm not involved with the company at all, but it seems like it could be a good service.
Here is the site:

And here is their e-mail:
good day, a few weeks ago we communicated through a forum about our new tool Posterini to create movie posters
At that moment you suggested the idea of having a new version that allowed to generate the posters in higher resolutions, so today
we are writing you to tell you that we have just launched that new version
It will keep increasing in specs, initially these are the first ones:
1) people can upload images up to 10 megabytes in size in Jpeg
2) they get for free the basic poster that has 1 Megapixel of quality, 510x714 resolution = 364.000 pixels = 0.3 Megapixels
3) the new $1.99 premium service gives them over 13 Megapixels of quality, 3060x4284 resolution = 13.109.040 pixels = 13 Megapixels
We believe that for $1.99 this first premium service of over 13 megapixels is a really good deal, (it really goes to pay for the stress on our servers that producing such size implies)
we will now monitor the response of the users to see what the next step will be
