Online PC Gaming help needed

I bought Medal of Honor Airborne recently and am fed up with the cheating douche bags on the online multiplayer games, but there are a few servers on there which use Punkbuster (prgramme that eliminates cheating) constantly which is great and I would love to play in those servers but the game says I cant because the server is running a different version.......how do I get the correct version please?

Also, there are patches for MOH Airborne available. I'm pretty new to online gaming etc, should I download these official patches from the EA website?

You update your software to the latest version through the manufacturer.

Ok thanks but it says the server I want to join is running an older version......I'm stumped. THe multiplayer games that I can play are the latest server versions but the ones I want to play are older versions......when I say version, does that mean older server???

I had the same problem with MOH Pacific Assault.

Then maybe the only solution is to unistall and then install the old version. If you still can't play forward the quetion to the support team.

do you have the original CD? if so use it to install the game. Once it is installed don't update it. If you can't still play contact the support team and ask them if there is any way to get the old version or to play in those servers with the new version of the game.

yes, you have to update to the same patch that they have.

Well I just downloaded the patch I thought it was, version 1.1 which is the only one below the one I had..............and it still wont let me play in those servers.

you will need to start from scratch. uninstall the game. then install it, but don't update yet. try to play on whatever server you want. if it doesn't work, update to version 1.1. try again. if that doesn't work, go to 1.2 and so on.

Ok, but what is this-MOHA Dedicated Server Package Version 1.1? This is a download as well.

That's just what the name states- dedicated server software. Take this to the EA support forums for a better response.
