I'm in the market for a DVX100A and have seen several internet dealers offering them for sale as US equipment with warranty. One is expresscameras.com. The price is pretty low and of I'm leary of purchasing one from them. Has anybody dealt with this website and if so what was your experiance? Can ayone recommend a reputable dealer?

You are right to be leery of them. This is one of the most-discussed threads on this forum. The short answer is, the net is plagued by liars, scammers and thieves. You can check out a particular store's reputation by looking them up at http://www.resellerratings.com. For good places to buy, stick with an authorized dealer -- by going with an authorized dealer, you not only will not get scammed, you'll get reliable service, a guaranteed factory warranty, the $300 Magic Bullet Editors software, a $300 factory rebate, and a copy of the $70 DVX Book/DVD.
http://www.EVSOnline.com is my favorite authorized reseller, but there are many -- B&H is great, as is Abel Cine Tech. You can find more in the thread "authorized resellers" which is a sticky topic at the top of the news/articles forum (I believe that's where it is...)

before u do anything !!!!!! Call EVS and ask 4 Rush, and tell him you're a DVXuser member and he will give you a sweet deal
plus if you're outside of California you don't pay NO tax, and maybe free shipping
trust me it's worth making the call
