Hello.
I'm starting off in this whole cinematography world and I'd like to know if there are good online couses about cinematography. My short-term goals involve the production of short films (so I need a good understand in the areas of story/screenwrite and directing) and also I plan to produce a few documentaries.
Are there good and worth online couses? What do you recommend me?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Steve.
Even though I agree with you I just want to have different sources for learning. I think a specific course can be very beneficial for me as a beginner to get a practical, hands on approach.

Alex.
Thank you so much for the link. Already enrolled.

Hi Fillipe..I joined dvx user 2 years ago knowing nothing about filming and trust me all you need to know is here..start by camera-set up,camera settings etc then composition then move on to lighting, art direction and by the time your through you will discover much more than you can imagine..soo much to learn and its all here

edit: deleted, from work (XP+IE) my posts come out without line jumps and with messed up links; plus it doesn't let me edit or delete posts

(forget the previous post, I don't know why it came out that way, and for some reason I can't edit or delete it)if you're coming from the photography world, you may find these courses pretty useful:http://www.dvxuser.com/articles/dvxshop/SoundDVD/http://www.dvxuser.com/articles/dvxshop/LightDVD/I bought them both as a newbie, and I can say there are cheaper ways to learn all that, but they require a lot more time and workif you want to learn these things fast, they're great; and by fast I mean before you bury your $$$ buying the wrong kind of kit
