One of my favorite YouTube channels.

I discovered this channel when I was teaching myself to cut gears on my milling machine, just a very well done production for each step in a clock making series. It's clear this guy thinks about the production before making the pieces, and certainly spends a little time on post as well. The actual clock is cool, probably nothing I would ever build, but the machine skills I find very interesting.

Shiesh!

That guy clearly puts as much knowledge and effort into the videos as he does his clocks.

I expected something good. But that was downright obsessive! Nice looking stuff.

I require my students to make a "how to" video as one of their major projects in the production class I teach in my high school. These are going into my syllabus as excellent examples of how to do it well. Thanks for the link.

The first day I found them I spent a couple hours watching all of them, again I found the techniques useful and the production level was certainly good enough to keep my attention on the content. I wish I was doing that level of machine work, and had his tools. And really I guess I need to try harder at the video side for those few times I make videos like this. I have decent cameras and plenty of close focus diopters to do this type of work, just need to put in the extra time to make them.

He has good narration qualities too, that certainly helps the videos.
