Well, I got called again.

I shot everything with the DVX.

Not done yet, but please let me know if you think it sucks. Remember, the images might not mean anything to you, but they do to the people this award is going for.

The end's not yet done -- I'm still thinking how I can make it super-sexy.

Looks good. The first portion looks like you spent the most time on. You sure make warehouse work interesting.

All of the zoom in/outs I'm not a fan of.

Couple of ideas... Use a breaking glass or particle transition when you cut from the filling tanker truck to the jet coming in for refueling.

For the end, if you have photos of all the people you are highlighting, do a grid photo collage of their protraits. Tnen zoom transition that into something symbolic. A flag or something meaniful to the group.

Zoom work -- yeah -- it hides the fact that I'm not a shooter... or maybe emphasizes it!! I thought it would be fun to try it. I do get a bit dizzy when watching it though.

I'll try your ideas too.

haphaole - mixed race (typically caucasian with something else)

In Hawaii, the term haole is commonly used to refer to caucasians even though technically it means foreigner.

If I can offer....

The transition at :34 doesn't fit with the rest of the clip, too "cheap" a transition to me (I hate those transitions), the rest of your edits are nice and clean. I'd think of changing it to a cleaner cut.

The overlay at 1:00 isn't quite working, a little too light.

I assume you're going to tighten up the ending, the balck it a tad too long.

But nice editing, and good shots. Well done:thumbsup:

I'll try without the transition from the mobility warehouse(green bins) to the workerbees... it is a cheap shot isn't it.

I've never liked the overlay for the first office stuff. Kind of wondering what to do there. I'll keep futzing.

The end is more awards and somehow I'll fade into unit logo or something.

Thanks agian. Even though I do this for free I try to make it good... ya know?
