I have researched this problem on this site for quite sometime and everybody seems have this working. To Capture your 24p or 24pa footage (using sony tapes) using a Canon zr45 (one chip camera).
The problem:
The tape only seems to have timecode breaks when I play it on the canon zr45. It works perfectly fine with my DVX. I at first thought that the camera couldn't handle the 3-chip data, but after reading all these forums I now understand it doesn't matter.
Questions:
What am I doing wrong? Are there certain setting on the camera's or fcp that I'm missing?
