Hey guys, i just got my letus 35fe, so heres the link to the test footage from the first day i got it, so I know i need to adjust some of the zoom settings (you can see some vignetting) and some focusing issues, but let me know feedback:

Also, i'm looking for rods and lens support and matte box for the adapter, so I was wondering if anyone had any insight on this product from B&H if it would fit on the dvx with the adapter on it, and still all fit together, if that makes sense.

It's the Cavision 4x4 Bellows Matte Box Kit - for DVX-100 and XL2, 15mm Rod Support, French Flag, 72mm Adapter

you have some crazy vignetting problems there alright. a common problem with 3
5mm adaptors of all sorts. the "viewing area" a 35mm lens produces is deceptively small and it's easy to think it's bigger than it really is. you have to zoom in more to get rid of the darkened corners.

otherwise it's very nice.

on a related note: several people have asked me where they can get a Letus and I can honestly say I have no idea. maybe you can inform the uninformed public?

That will work but you will need a support shim. Also the original rods may be a little short so you might need to look at getting somelarger.

Search for Scharkeys thread, around here somewhere with the full thing setup.

As for the footage, yeah xooming on a 35mm adapter is a no no, once youve got it set without vignetting. Also seems you applied a filter to that footage? in post and the lights were overexposed and darks were just too soft and dark.
