howdy.
i'm trying to figure out how to create flash video using fcp7 and i keep hearing about on2 vp6 but can't seem to find any info about using it on mac.
i tried searching but couldn't find anything newer than 2008 for info.
i'm trying to play 2-7 min, sd clips, averaging 50-175mbs on a wordpress page and they load so slowly most people give up and many can't get it to play at all
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

that thread is where i started which led me to on2 vp6 but i can't find anyway to use it in fcp.
i'm trying to find out if there's workaround or some other software of the same quality codec.
on2's site says they no longer sell that software or the one that would allow you to use mac.

You can use Adobe Premiere Pro to create Flash video on the mac, or if you need a free app, there is FFMPEGX.

It looks like all you will need to do is export a Quicktime Reference file and shove it through FFMPEGX with the correct settings.

http://www.ffmpegx.com/

They also have a guide on their site about encoding ON 2 VP6 into an .FLV container.
