"On The Lot" tonight

an article said today that the top 20 reality shows today ere well i dunno but my brother said on the lot was 10th. in ratings.

Is this the article you are referring to, Link? If so, it's not based on ratings, but based on the number of searches people have done on Yahoo for those particular shows.

That would make more sense. I bet the website for On The Lot makes more money than the show itself. No, not really, but close.
 
I think the show took a turn for the good tonight. Format seemed better now that there is less people to show. I liked watching tonight and the host was a little bit less annoying haha. I found all of them to be excellent tonight, every film except for the one about Sex. It made be laugh but the ending wasn't so great. All the others were very fun to watch....

Zach's was awesome though, I laughed long after it was over.

Maybe the show isn't dead afterall.

i definately thought the show was better tonight. zach's short was funny and like you said i thought the rest were well done too except the sex short. didnt really like the sperm bank robbery either though, but she made a dramatic come up from her last two shorts. the cute indian girl had a good short film too. i liked the host but she didnt look as hot tonight.

zach even got 3 groupies rooting for him in the back row off his work! ha! who says short films dont do anything for you? :)
 
Regarding tonight's show, I thought "Nerve Endings" was the funniest one.

The only thing that was better was Adrianna's short dress. :shocked:
 
I thought Zach's was very good tonight.
Anyone notice the subtle color grading difference to separate the make believe adventure world from the hum drum office world? Maybe it was obvious.

I was surprised at how enthusiastic the judges were for How to Have a Girl and the Sperm Bank one.

Anyone recognize the older woman in the sperm bank one? She is the creepy lady with the absurd tan in Something About Mary and the creepy landlady with bad teeth that Woody Harelson must "satisfy" in King Pin.

Also the brain surgeon was from Die Hard I think. And of course the bald office guy works all the time.

yea the black dude from the surgery room was the cop in die hard and the chic from the short with the wrestling-sex scenes was Ashley from Fresh Prince of Bel Air - Will Smith's old show.

Well I don't know about that.

Shalini (the Indian gal) has surprised us a few times and her work has a lot more soul / depth than Zach's.

As much as I liked his film tonight it was still another "gimmick" film just like his FX films. A gag if you will. It worked very well though. But his sunshine film had some bad acting, bad dialogue, and a story line that did not arc, it was flat.

I really liked Shalini's bio style pic of the comedian, maybe my favorite so far, and her Korean family pic tonight was good too.

Will has been fairly solid, though not goose bump inducing.
