On The Lot: Time Out

I was watching the short, "Time Out," and was impressed by the effects. It looks like a combination of masking and greenscreen. Anyone know how some of the shots were set up/done?

Most impressive shot being where the hangers fly off of the table and freeze in mid-air while the actors are in the background. I don't know if they did a seamless cut in the shot.

Sorry if this was already discussed (I know this short came out a while ago), but I hadn't found anything on it. (I also didn't see the episode where they shot the short, so I don't know if it they showed how the guy did it).

There's a time freeze tutorial on the videocopilot.net site (Andrew Kramer's) and that effect was discussed here, might have been in the on the lot thread itself.
