On set "must haves"?

Hey, I was wondering what some of the stuff people always have with them in their kit no matter what kind of shoot they are on. Anything weird or interesting?

I always have:

and RCA male to male cable
Chewing gum
Gaff tape
spare tape (whatever is lyring around, usually TDK, I know...gross)
of course my DVX
50 feet of 550 cord
c-47's
assorted zip ties
a leatherman tool
a caribiner
a small garbage bag
water (I keep this seperately from the camera)

Good call. There's to much I always have...

gel roll with- CTBs, CTOs, NDs, party colors.
White balance card.
NDs for camera.
My monitor (I hate shooting without my monitor.)

An assortment of other things that I'm sure will come to me throughout the day.

sometimes when I feeling really empowered.. I will setup my own CD player that constantly plays old recordings of the rosie odonnell show..

or.or... I play exerpts from the bible.. just so I can yell and scream at the crew about how much i hate religion.


but mostly I like to keep 3 or 4 hookers in a portable freezer... I can't tell you the number of times a dead hooker has saved me..

heh if I had a nickel for everytime I said that..well... I'd have more money to spend on spare hookers..
