on camera vs post coloring

finally after several months of wait i recieved my canon xl2. i was wondering if i should shoot the scenes first and then edit the colors later in final cut or should i try and obtain the color that i want on the camera and touch it up a bit?>

Most folk recommend doing it in camera. I however, tend to change my mind... frequently. If you have the effects on the tape, it makes it really hard to go a different way later on. I say shoot for the best image, alter it in post.

get your white balance right in-camera, then do any adjustments in post
