On-Camera Shockmount?

If you want to go 'on-camera' with sound for quick run-n-gun style sound pickup, should I pick up a better shockmount for the camera? When you have to go 'on-camera', what do you do?

I was thinking of picking up a K-Tek KSM (or KSSM) or GPS (or GPSS) for my V1U and shotgun mic (still haven't picked up the mic yet, at the advice of Oleg, I'm looking to ditch the ME66 and pick up something better).

Anyone use anything different/better 'on-camera'?

I also just use the HVX mount, but no french flag then...
But anything making the camera look bigger and more "complicated" may impress clients:o)

Oleg,
is the "NG1 Killer" out yet...?

i still prefer an audio technica hotshoe adapter w/ a higher end shockmount like the k-tek KSM, especially when used with a camera-friendly shotgun like the Sanken CS-1 or Sennheiser MKH-50.
