On-camera mic shock mount.

Hello everyone !

I am on the hunt for a good on-camera mic shock mount. I am using a Rycote wind-blocker. I need the mic to be a few inches higher than the built-in mic mount, otherwise the Rycote is in the frame. (But I hope to not use the shoe mounted variety of mic mount as I am using a Lite Panel at the same time.)

Anyone have the perfect solution?

Not exactly the perfect solution maybe, but there are several cold shoe extenders and adapters that would allow mounting of both the Lite Panels and the mic. I use one to mount a wirelesss receiver and shotgun sometimes. Here's one:

I have been using the Azden SMH-1 and it works very well:

You can also get some kind of add-on raised shoe adapter to raise the mount up higher. I have one that has 2 raised mounts but don't know what it's called.

I have this mount but I'm mot really satisfied with it. That's why I posted the question.
the big side of the tube is too big for the mic holder. Besides, this adapter is too heavy and the mic is tilting down ... toward the lens and appears in the frame. I think I wil mand craft an accessory that I have in mind, I give you more info later ...
