On-camera lighting

Can someone suggest any on-camera lighting system that I can use for my DVX100A? Also, would there by any accessories that I'd need to buy for it to fit my camera?

Thanks in advance,

I have a LitePanel and really love it. They are pricey. But, it's the best quality for onboard light options that I have used.

you could try the mic lite, or you can save a ton and build your own, they seems to be nice on camera lights. do a search on mic light,

Great product, affordable price...

I'm currently running sound on a job in OKC under Fritz Kiersch (Children of the Corn and a bunch of other stuff)... and I just wanted to say that I brought my Vidled down with me purely as a personal convenience item... since we are shooting on about half nights, and I just wanted to have the Vidled on hand to keep track of anything that may fall off my sound cart... well... on SEVERAL setups now we've had a 10 TON GRIP TRUCK full of HMIs and other major lights... and they've struggled to get a lighting setup right... then somebody says, "hey Matt, can we see that Vidled for a minute?"

Then after a dozen plus grips/gaffers had just setup a TON of stuff... they end up actually shooting with fewer big lights and incorporate the Vidled! :)

Last night, or should I say this morning (at about 4:30am) we had a scene where a girl commits suicide up on a high rooftop... they were having trouble getting the look right because it looked over-lit... then finally they had the AD stand outside of frame with the single Vidled in hand... and turned off EVERYTHING else! This was after the grips and gaffers had trucked a ton of stuff up there... I mean a TON of stuff! I was just booming and running sound from my eng bag... but this is the second time that little light made me proud to have on me... a couple nights ago a guy got knifed in a car... and we used it on several angles to light his face or to catch the blood hitting the inside of the windshield.

This little light has become one of the most envied items from my entire kit... even just to light up the slate... basically it's been amazing how many times it's come in handy down here.

I believe it's 58?

You also will need to rock a big ole battery belt with the ringlight
