On Camera Lighting

i just bought a VidLed. There's a thread here somewhere. They seem to be pretty popular around here. I think the base unit was just over $200...I think. Works great. Use if for weddings and random docu stuff. Highly recommend the company also. Easy to work with and pro... hope that helps.
 
Yeah thanks! I just saw that other post for on camera lighting and read about the Vidled.... I'll probably end up going with that, seems like it would be a good buy. Uses less battery, looks compact and lightweight too.
 
Well, I didn't realize that the standard one didn't come with a battery... and the one that does is a bit too expensive. So I guess I'm still looking for a good on camera light kit for a decent price. Anyone have any suggestions?
