On-Camera light problem with DVX - HELP?

Okay, the DVX100B comes with a 3-pin XLR connector.
All on-board camera lights I've researched are made for 4-pin XLRs.

That's a problem.

What lights do you use that fit with the DVX's XLR input?

BTW, I'm only going XLR, no battery belt packs, cig lighters or anything like that - the light should feed from the camcorder's power source only.

Also, I've been trying to find an adapter plug from Panny but was unable to do so, so if you don't know of any lights that fit maybe you've heard of an appropriate adapter?

Many thanks!!!

Plugging a light into the DVX's XLR audio input will probably not have a desirable effect. External batteries aren't fun to lug around, but they'll power the light.

Sorry, but audio XLR's NEVER and I mean Never, power a light or anything of that nature.
They can only supply phantom power to a mic.

You will have to use an external power source.

See, that's what I was thinking, but the gentleman at a large supply company (won't mention names here) insisted that certain lights can be plugged into the XLR outputs and basically feed off the battery.
Yeah, it's weird but that's what he said.

Thanks for your replies btw!
I'll keep searchin'...
