Lost my weatherbeaten Litepanels MicroPro. That's OK, it was an overpriced plastic piece of crap that I was always having to repair and bodge back together anyway.
Anyway, I need a replacement. I'm fully aware of how ugly LED's are on faces, green spikes, flicker issues, and other LED concerns, but it's a useful tool to highlight details of delicate procedures.
I need it to be compact, at least as bright as the MicroPro, mountable via 1/4"-20 stud, easily use Sony L-series (NP-F) batteries, and have a DC power input option as well.
As of last year, the F&V Z96 (and its various rebadgings) seemed to be well-liked and checks all the boxes. Has anything bested it since then?
