On camera audio track split?

Hi guys, right now my audio workflow is:
- Dual transmitter lav mics -> wireless receiver -> S5II recording the audio and splitting the audio tracks (I end up with an individual audio track for each mic, which is what I want).

I'd like to know if the S5II would still be able to split the audio track and record each mic individually in the scenario below.
- Dual Transmitter lav mics -> wireless receiver -> H1 Essential recording 32 bit float -> S5II recording the audio

I don't see why it wouldn't work, although its a clunky setup that might give worse audio quality because you're sending a compressed 16bit wireless audio into the Zoom H1 that has bad amps. I also believe H1 only outputs a line level signal that you might not be able to control or will introduce noise when amplified.

If you want to go this route I'd go with the Zoom F2 instead. The only reason to do this is if you have clipping issues because you can't monitor the audio because you're conducting the interview. But overall I think it's not a good idea.

Why do you want to insert the H1 into the audio chain? Btw, I believe you can't use both the internal mics and input from another source. It's one or the other.
