On cam led light???

Hi,

I want to buy a on cam light and was looking at the Flolight microbeam 128 and 256.
The 256 looks almost too big(wide)...I was wondering which one would be the best, the flood
version or the spot?
Often I will use it to put a little more light in a room the more evenly as possible or as a fill light for interviews.
I think the flood would be the one to buy, but is there someone who as tried these lights?

I have the 256 and it's actually pretty bright for what it is. Be sure to use it with the minus green filter that comes with it.

It takes a NP-F battery and if you fit a 970 on there you'll have it going for quite a while.
Wether it's too wide or not... hm, it haven't thought about that. But in regards to wide or spot, I'd go wide. I saw some examples of the spot and thought it was to specific for my taste.
