Well, I ran out of tapes (MQ, of course) a couple of days ago and went to the (online) shop where I used to order them... and they were all out of Master tapes and have been for a while. I went looking elsewhere and to my horror I wasn't able to find a single freakin MQ tape in the whole town. Seriously, NONE. Apparently Panasonic simply stopped making 'em in favour of AMQ (that are nowhere to be found yet).
So, what am I to do now? :undecided There are PQ tapes, that I've never used, that would seem like the only possible replacement, but for some reason they're priced at $8-10 in the few shops they are sold at. That's almost double what I used to pay for MQ for the past 7 months (~$5,5). Seems stupid to pay that much for lesser quality tapes, it must be something to do with the "Professional" label on those, poo pooin ripoff.
